Marketing for Linguists: A practical series of marketing workshops for translators and interpreters
The Marketing for Linguists sessions will show you effective ways to market your business and help you put together a basic plan of action. You will learn how to create your brand, compete in a global world and run marketing activities alongside your many other responsibilities.
This event is being held over three separate sessions and tickets are available on Eventbrite.
A Visual World: Research on sign language, Prof. Jemina Napier, Heriot Watt University
This presentation will give an overview of key research that is currently being (or has recently been) conducted by members of the sign language research team at Heriot-Watt University, which draws upon linguistic, sociolinguistic, and applied linguistic frameworks for the analysis of sign language structure, usage, communication and identity.
