The University Council for Modern Languages (UCML) is the overarching national organisation representing the interests of modern languages, linguistics and cultural and area studies in higher education in the UK.
Like SALT the University Council for Modern Languages Scotland (UCMLS) is a professional teaching association with a lobbying remit. They coordinate all additional actions and resources relevant to modern languages in higher education in Scotland.
UCMLS are preparing for their national cross-sector conference, 1+2: Looking back and moving forward, to be held at the University of Dundee on 9th September 2016 and are keen to hear the views of those involved in the delivery of 1+2.
